Description
Mathers Mill Nature Preserve consists of 42 acres of beautiful wooded hillside and some wooded bottom land. There are well-preserved, steeply sloped hillsides, rich wildlife habitat and a potential for unobtrusive viewing trails for bird and wildlife viewing and photography.
The area is known for a mill once owned by Richard Mather. A small settlement there was a stop for the Little Miami Railroad. Mathers Mill is now known for the public scenic river access that features parking for the users of the trail, as well as watercraft and fishing access.

North on 71 - Wilmington Rd. Ext #36, left on Wilmington Rd. Go approximately 1.5 miles to the Little Miami River Mathers Mill access is at the Junction of Wilmington Rd, Corwin Rd. and the Little Miami River.
Open from dawn to dusk.
