Marathon Park

Marathon Community Park is located on 5 acres of Township owned land on Marathon Edenton Road, just a bit north off U.S. Route 50 in Marathon, Ohio. Nestled in among horse pastures and woods, Jackson Towsnhip's only public park provides residents with a walking and bike trail, modern playground equipment, a basketball court, picnic tables, benches, a shelter, and a peaceful environment.

As a rural community, Jackson Township has no sidewalks along roadways for people to walk, jog or ride a bike safely out of traffic. Marathon Community Park offers a convenient place for residents to exercise in safety on its paved walk and bike trail (3.5 trips around the trail equals one mile).
